A majority of it constructed in the 1970’s. Which means big streets, big yards, back alleys, overall lots of room for getting around and parking. This neighbourhood is walking distance for kids to multiple schools and has many amenities within a short walking distance including playgrounds, outdoor ice rink and convenience stores.
Very friendly neighbourhood with mature tree growth and good looking yards all around.
With older homes comes less efficient construction like 2×4 walls, lacking insulation in ceilings and basements foundation walls that do not have insulation. However, this is not on all properties and can be an easy fix. But good to keep in mind when buying a home.
